There are lots of good places to eat along 30A. Even after all the years we have been going to the area we still haven't tried them all. We have our favorites marked with an asterisk (*), or two if they're just plain awesome (**). There really aren't any chain restaurants at all.
**Ice Cream - Blue Mountain Creamery (right across the street on 30A, homemade ice cream, we usually walk from the house). Guy that owns it and works there is named Jed. Don't miss going to the creamery, it is awesome. We go there pretty much every day. (Hey, we're on vacation right?)

There is a Publix on Hwy 98 just a little bit past where you turn down to go to Blue Mountain Beach (it's really convenient to the house, and just a little further west is the mini Walmart)
